Super cool, but why so much money?!

I am getting this for my son for Christmas, and I know he will love it because he has seen the working display at Target stores. It's such a perfect gift from santa, but why so much money? Target has tons available in stores for $119, and they sell here for well over $200?! Great toy, can't wait to give it to my son for Christmas, but don't spend $200 when there are plenty available for almost half that!
Great fun, cheaper at Target

I was able to play with this toy before purchasing at a Fisher Price event. My 4 year old son didn't want to stop playing with it. I agree with the previous reviewer, I bought it at Target since Amazon's pricing was so high. I bought most of my son's toys last year off Amazon for cheaper or close to the same price as other major competitors but not this year- make sure to check out a few other websites/stores before buying.
Lots of fun for dad, scary for 3 1/2 year old.

We bought this toy on sale at target for 119.00, then saw it for 89.00 at toys r us, so we returned it for the one at toys r us. I couldn't wait for him to open it and play with it. As soon as the battery charged, fired spike up, and my son was completley horrified. 2 Weeks passed hoping that he would eventually want to play with it. We eventually returned it, and now he's asking, "where's my spike?". Lol.
His birthday is in feb, so we'll now have to pay > $134 for our mistake.
As for the toys review, it is a total blast to play with, any young lad will love this toy.

Santa brought this to my 5 year old son, who at the store thought it was great. Its been 3 months now and he has only touched it a couple of times. It's a lot of money to just sit around. Funny enough, my family liked it more and they are adults. Although everything works great, its very loud!!

I wanted to get this toy for him at xmas he is 4 years old, everybody said they thought he wouldn't like. One month later one of his schoolmates brings it to class for show and tell and he went crazy over it to the point that the mother of the boy who brought it wanted to "lend" it to him overnight, when my daughter told me this I immediately got on the computer to find one, Amazon was the only place that had the red one which is what he wanted. He did not ask for the green one. Grandpa is always right when comes to toys because grandpa is also just a kid at heart.
