This toy was exactly what I was hoping for! This 3 pack of trains magnetically connects with all of the other trains from the Thomas Take-Along series perfectly. I purchased this for my two-year-old son, and he absolutely loves the trains. He carries them around everywhere with him! For the record, the dinosaur does detach from its car.

My grandson just loved this item as two of his favorite things are trains and dinodaur's! Big enough to keep him interested visually but small enough to go in the car on trips. great buy to boot. thx
