Roboraptor’s life-like animatronic motion allows him to walk and run as well as hold a predatory stance. Roboraptor has multi-sensors all over his body enabling him to hear, see and feel people and the environment around him. He has sensors in the head and tail while sonic sensors detect sound and direction.

With three changeable moods, the hunter, the cautious and the playful mood, Roboraptor will keep you on your toes for hours. Beware, if you go too close to his face when he’s hunting he will snarl and hiss, but if you touch his face when he’s in playful mood, he’ll nudge up to you and nuzzle into your hand.

Roboraptor has real walking and running action with realistic neck and tail movements. His advanced personality has 3 distinct moods, hunting, cautious and playful. His twin touch sensors and IR vision for obstacle avoidance ensure he reacts to his environment. Multiple sensors for interactive play make him a very complex creature, but be warned, touch an angry Roboraptor and he will turn around and try to bite you! Having purchased a Roboraptor for my daughter it has generally lived up to expectations. It looks VERY good and it's movements are impresive. Sometimes when it is doing its own thing it does not seem that responsive to the controller, however giving the 'stop' command first fixes this.

Do not use ordinary batteries for this machine as its performance is vastly improved by using top notch (2000+ mAh) NiMH rechargable batteries. The difference to the walking and general movements was very noticable it also allowed it to walk on more surfaces.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is interested in robotics or just wants a cool looking interesting toy.

Well just got one of these for my birthday and it is pretty cool. Looks good and is quite amusing to play with.

The only problem is that most people will lose interest in it after 5 minutes. The description of it gives the impression it will be running about the place in a smooth fluid way, reality being it very jerkily waddles about the place slowly. If you have wooden or laminate floors it doesnt cope very well.

so really its a fun novelty toy that kids will quickly get bored with. For me its a cool toy that I'll keep around, next to my Zoidzilla!
